The Center of Economic and Law Studies (Celios) conducted a survey on a number of key issues in Indonesia that must be immediately addressed by the administration of Prabowo Subianto and Gibran Rakabuming Raka.
Job creation and worker protection emerged as the most pressing issue, voiced by 23.3% of respondents.
"After one year in office, the public believes that the conditions for job creation and worker protection have not seen significant improvement, especially amidst the challenges of mass layoffs in the digital and manufacturing sectors," Celios wrote in its Prabowo-Gibran 1-Year Performance Report.
This was followed by the issue of controlling the prices of basic necessities, particularly food and energy commodities, according to 22.4% of respondents.
Subsequent issues included education, law enforcement, and corruption eradication.
