100 Days of the Red and White Cabinet: Celios' Version of the Worst Performing Ministers

The Center for Economic and Law Studies (Celios) evaluated the performance of the first 100 days of the "Red and White Cabinet" by surveying 95 journalists with in-depth insights into the government's performance.

These journalists were asked to assess the performance of ministers in the Red and White Cabinet based on five indicators: program achievement, alignment of policy plans with public needs, leadership and coordination quality, budget governance, and policy communication.

Journalists were chosen as respondents because of their experience in routinely observing the performance of public officials.

"Because their profession [journalists'] requires them to seek facts, verify information, and provide accurate and unbiased reports, they can provide a more objective and independent assessment," Celios stated in its report titled *100 Days of Prabowo-Gibran*.

The results showed that Minister of Human Rights Natalius Pigai was deemed the worst-performing minister in the first 100 days of the Red and White Cabinet, receiving a score of -113 points.

"This score indicates significant criticism of human rights policies due to various controversies or a lack of breakthroughs," Celios wrote in its report.

Next was the Minister of Cooperatives Budi Arie Setiadi with a score of -61 points, followed by the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) Bahlil Lahadalia with -41 points, Minister of Forestry Raja Juli Antoni with -36 points, and Minister of Villages and Disadvantaged Regions Yandri Susanto with -28 points.

Celios' research also identified the best-performing ministers in the first 100 days. Minister of Religion Nasaruddin Umar ranked first, followed by Minister of Communication and Digital Meutya Hafid, and then Minister of Basic and Secondary Education Abdul Mu'ti. However, Celios did not detail their scores.
