The Ministry of Finance reported that the central government's spending in the State Budget (APBN) as of January 31, 2026 amounted to Rp131.9 trillion.

This figure grew by 53.37% compared to the spending realization in the same period of the previous year.

Deputy Minister of Finance, Suahasil Nazara, said this realization is an effort to accelerate spending by the central government.

Of the Rp131.9 trillion, Rp76.1 trillion is the spending realization of non-ministry/institution. Meanwhile, Rp55.8 trillion is the central government's spending from ministries/institutions.

Within the spending of ministries/institutions, there is social assistance spending (bansos) which as of January 31, 2026, its realization reached Rp9.5 trillion.

"That's more than double compared to last year's bansos spending of Rp4.1 trillion. We believe it will contribute to economic growth, especially through household consumption," said Suahasil.
