According to data from the Directorate General of Finance and Risk Management (DJPPR) of the Ministry of Finance, the government debt position of Indonesia as of December 31, 2025, reached Rp9,637.90 trillion.

This figure is equivalent to 40.46% of the country's gross domestic product (GDP).

Most of the government debt is in the form of Government Securities (SBN), which amount to Rp8,387.23 trillion or 87.02% of the total debt.

BI stated that the use of government ULN is focused on supporting the health services sector and social activities, which account for 22.1% of the total government ULN.
