Current Food Prices in West Java: Salt Up, Buffalo Meat Down

Prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Sunday (November 16, 2025) at 08:44 AM WIB, out of 24 commodities, 2 commodities increased and 22 commodities decreased.

The commodities with increased prices are broiler chicken eggs and consumption salt.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as garlic bulbs, premium rice, dried soybean seeds (imported), packaged cooking oil, and medium rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Consumption salt commodity jumped the highest by Rp627 (6.04%) to Rp11,000 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of frozen buffalo meat (imported from abroad) dropped the deepest by Rp105,000 (100.0%) to Rp0 per kg.
