Current Food Prices in Aceh Region: Onion and Salt Prices Increase

The price of several food commodities in Aceh today is observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Wednesday (18/12/2024) at 09.02 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 9 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include medium-grain rice, dry soybean (import), bulk cooking oil, iodized fine salt, and skipjack tuna.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as premium rice, curly red chilies, granulated sugar, bulk wheat flour, and mackerel decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Bulk cooking oil saw the highest price increase, jumping Rp2,270 (12.8%) to Rp20,000 per liter. Bulk wheat flour experienced the steepest price drop, falling Rp900 (8.41%) to Rp9,800 per kg.

The following is a complete list of the prices of 19 food commodities in Aceh according to Bapanas on December 18, 2024, at 09.02 WIB.

1. Pure Beef: Rp160,000 per kg (up 4.58%)
2. Mackerel: Rp44,500 per kg (down 0.71%)
3. Garlic Bulb: Rp42,100 per kg (down 0.05%)
4. Red Onion: Rp37,600 per kg (up 1.08%)
5. Milkfish: Rp36,100 per kg (unchanged)
6. Broiler Chicken: Rp32,500 per kg (up 0.62%)
7. Skipjack Tuna: Rp28,100 per kg (up 1.33%)
8. Curly Red Chili: Rp27,800 per kg (down 1.97%)
9. Broiler Chicken Eggs: Rp27,500 per kg (down 1.33%)
10. Bulk Cooking Oil: Rp20,000 per liter (up 12.8%)
11. Granulated Sugar: Rp18,000 per kg (down 1.32%)
12. Simple Packaged Cooking Oil: Rp17,000 per liter (down 7.21%)
