The loss of PT Waskita Karya (Persero) Tbk (WSKT) throughout 2025 reached Rp3.93 trillion, a 52% increase compared to the loss in 2024 (year-on-year/yoy).
This loss value is also the largest in the last five years, as shown in the chart.
In 2025, WSKT recorded a business revenue of Rp8.82 trillion, a 17.64% decrease (yoy). Its revenue was supported by the construction services segment with a value of Rp6.76 trillion.
Then, the revenue from the toll road segment was Rp1.16 trillion, precast Rp682.72 billion, hotels Rp103.03 billion, property Rp61.56 billion, sales of other infrastructure Rp39.67 billion, and rental of buildings and equipment Rp8.76 billion.
This profit was eroded by the main income burden, which decreased by 22.09% (yoy) to Rp7.24 trillion throughout 2025.
As of December 31, 2025, this red-chip company recorded assets of Rp70.73 trillion, a decrease of 8.33% (yoy). Its assets consisted of liabilities of Rp67.06 trillion and equity of Rp3.67 trillion.
Waskita Karya's Corporate Secretary, Ermy Puspa Yunita, said that in 2025, WSKT managed to reduce its liabilities by Rp2.21 trillion.
According to her, the management's current focus is on reducing liabilities through several strategic plans, including accelerating the divestment of toll roads and optimizing assets.
"In 2025, Waskita completed a number of stock divestment actions, such as the divestment of 94.7% of PT Waskita Sangir Energi through its subsidiary, PT Waskita Karya Infrastruktur, in September," said Ermy in a press release on Wednesday (1/4/2026).
In November 2025, WSKT also divested 35% of PT Cimanggis Cibitung Tollways through PT Waskita Toll Road.
Then in December 2025, WSKT, through its subsidiary, PT Waskita Karya Realty, divested 20% of PT Waskita Modern Realty.
According to Ermy, these steps aim to optimize the investment portfolio and strengthen WSKT's financial liquidity.
