Current Food Prices in East Java, What is the Price of Beef?

The prices of several food commodities in East Java today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Wednesday (2/10/2024) at 18:49 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 9 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include skipjack tuna, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), shallots, garlic bulbs, and bulk cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as broiler chicken, granulated sugar, SPHP rice, red chilies, and bulk wheat flour decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Shallots saw the highest price increase, jumping Rp290 (1.3%) to Rp22,530 per kg. Red chilies experienced the sharpest price drop, falling Rp710 (3.5%) to Rp19,590 per kg.
