The daily price of chili peppers in traditional markets in West Papua Province has decreased by 29.67% over the past month.

Based on the National Strategic Food Price Information Center dashboard at 4:44 PM WIB, the daily price of chili peppers in traditional markets in West Papua Province has not changed compared to the previous day, similar to the price trend over the past week.

However, over the past month, the daily price of chili peppers in traditional markets has decreased from the previous record of Rp113,750.

Meanwhile, the daily price of chili peppers in traditional markets in West Papua over the past three months has increased by 6.67% from the previous trading price of Rp75,000.

The record high for the daily price of chili peppers in traditional markets in this province was previously recorded in April 2019 with an increase of 123.33%, and the lowest decrease was recorded in November 2022 with a decrease of -55.12%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) today in West Papua show 18 commodities decreased and six others increased. The sembako with decreased prices are Red Onion, Red Chili, Large Red Chili, Garlic, Medium-Sized Garlic, Rice, Granulated Sugar, Low-Quality Rice II, Medium-Quality Rice II, Super I Rice, Red Chili Pepper, Medium-Sized Red Onion, Chicken Meat, Green Chili Pepper, Fresh Chicken Meat, Chili Pepper, Curly Red Chili, and Local Granulated Sugar.

The following are the prices of nine basic commodities monitored by PIHPS today compared to the price trend over the past month in West Papua Province:
