Today's Food Prices (Jan 14) in Jambi: Red Chili and Cayenne Pepper Prices Rise

Prices of several food commodities in Jambi today were observed to increase compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Needs Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Wednesday (Jan 14, 2026) at 3:38 PM WIB, out of 15 commodities, 2 increased and 1 decreased.

The commodities with increased prices are curly red chili and red cayenne pepper.

Meanwhile, only large red chili decreased compared to yesterday's price.

Curly red chili increased the highest by Rp1,334 (4.71%) to Rp29,667 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of large red chili decreased the sharpest by Rp556 (2.05%) to Rp26,500 per kg.
