Food Prices Today, January 14 in East Java: Red Chili, Egg, and Onion Prices Fall

The prices of several food commodities in East Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Necessity Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Wednesday (January 14, 2026) at 17:13 WIB, out of 16 commodities, 1 commodity increased and 5 commodities decreased.

The only commodity with an increased price was large red chili.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as curly red chili, red bird's eye chili, broiler chicken meat, Honan garlic, and broiler chicken eggs decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Large red chili saw the highest increase of Rp181 (0.76%) to Rp23,939 per kg. Meanwhile, curly red chili prices experienced the deepest drop of Rp285 (1.01%) to Rp27,929 per kg.
