West Java Food Prices Wednesday (15/10): Beef Prices Up, Red Chili Prices Down

Prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to have fallen compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Wednesday (October 15, 2025) at 08:44 AM WIB, out of 24 commodities, 7 commodities increased and 16 commodities decreased.

Commodities with increased prices include farmer-level corn, medium rice, SPHP rice, premium rice, and broiler eggs.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as mackerel, packaged cooking oil, broiler meat, milkfish, and bulk cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Farmer-level corn commodity recorded the highest surge of Rp215 (3.54%) to Rp6,283 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of large red chili dropped the sharpest by Rp5,706 (9.66%) to Rp53,333 per kg.
