Food Prices on Friday (24/10) in East Java: Salt, Cayenne Pepper, and Buffalo Meat Prices Decrease

Prices of several food ingredients in East Java today were observed to decrease compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Friday (24/10/2025) at 12:46 PM WIB, out of 25 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 17 commodities decreased.

Commodities with increased prices include broiler chicken eggs, bulk cooking oil, SPHP rice, milkfish, and dried soybeans (imported).

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as bulk wheat flour, consumption salt, packaged wheat flour, large red chili, and garlic cloves decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Skipjack tuna commodity increased the most by Rp603 (1.9%) to Rp32,329 per kg. As for fresh local buffalo meat prices, they decreased most sharply by Rp120,000 (100.0%) to Rp0 per kg.
