Food Prices Thursday (18/9) in D.I Yogyakarta: Rice, Salt, and Chicken Meat Prices Increase

Prices of several food commodities in D.I Yogyakarta today were observed to increase compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Thursday (18/9/2025) at 12:11 PM WIB, out of 23 commodities, 11 commodities increased and 11 commodities decreased.

Commodities with price increases include table salt, broiler chicken meat, broiler chicken eggs, SPHP rice, and red bird''s eye chili.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as medium rice, pure beef, curly red chili, packaged cooking oil, and consumption sugar decreased compared to yesterday''s prices.

Table salt saw the highest increase of Rp447 (3.85%) to Rp12,056 per kg. The price of curly red chili experienced the deepest decrease of Rp2,449 (4.21%) to Rp55,778 per kg.

6. Broiler Chicken Meat: Rp38,000 per kg (up 0.06%)
7. Red Bird''s Eye Chili: Rp36,333 per kg (up 2.08%)
8. Skipjack Tuna: Rp34,800 per kg (down 0.74%)
9. Shallots: Rp34,227 per kg (up 1.78%)
10. Garlic Bulb: Rp30,818 per kg (up 0.66%)
11. Broiler Chicken Eggs: Rp28,088 per kg (up 0.99%)
