Food Prices Today (27/1) in West Java: Red Chili, Chicken Meat, and Cayenne Pepper Prices Rise

Prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Necessity Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Tuesday (27/1/2026) at 17.12 WIB, out of 16 commodities, 6 commodities increased and 1 commodity decreased.

Commodities with increased prices are red cayenne pepper, Honan garlic, large red chili, shallots, and broiler chicken meat.

Meanwhile, only imported soybeans decreased compared to yesterday's price.

Red cayenne pepper commodity increased the most by Rp1,417 (2.75%) to Rp52,967 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of imported soybeans decreased the sharpest by Rp50 (0.37%) to Rp13,593 per kg.
