Granulated Sugar Prices in Modern Markets for the April 2025-2026 Period

Quoting the National Strategic Food Price Information Center dashboard at 08:23 WIB, the daily granulated sugar price in modern markets of the Bangka Belitung Islands Province has not changed compared to the previous day, nor in the last week.

Compared to the price 30 days ago, the daily granulated sugar price in modern markets has increased from the previously recorded Rp15.6 thousand per kg.

Meanwhile, the daily granulated sugar price in modern markets in the Bangka Belitung Islands over the last three months has increased by 1.29% from the previously recorded Rp15.5 thousand per kg.

The record increase in daily granulated sugar prices in modern markets in this province was previously recorded in April 2022 with a 4% increase, and the lowest decrease was recorded in May 2017 with an 11.11% decrease.

According to the PIHPS monitoring, today's prices of nine staple commodities in the Bangka Belitung Islands show that 11 commodities have decreased and eight have increased. Commodities with price decreases include Bird's Eye Chili, Cooking Oil, Branded Packaged Cooking Oil 1, Green Bird's Eye Chili, Red Bird's Eye Chili, Red Chili, Chicken Meat, Fresh Broiler Chicken Meat, Shallots, Medium-sized Shallots and Curly Red Chili.

Below are the prices of nine staple commodities monitored by PIHPS today compared to their price developments in the last month in the Bangka Belitung Islands Province:
