Current Food Prices in West Java: Chili and Oil Prices Drop

The prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Thursday (28/11/2024) at 15.22 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 9 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include broiler chicken, granulated sugar, garlic cloves, mackerel, and milkfish.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as shallots, chicken eggs, farmer-level corn, skipjack tuna, and bulk cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chili prices increased the most, by Rp610 (2.27%) to Rp27,430 per kg. Meanwhile, red chili prices decreased the most sharply, by Rp520 (1.48%) to Rp34,560 per kg.

The following is a complete list of the prices of 21 food commodities in West Java according to Bapanas on November 28, 2024, at 15.22 WIB.
