Chicken Meat Prices in Traditional Markets for the April 2025-2026 Period

Quoting from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center dashboard at 11:44 WIB, the daily chicken meat price in traditional markets in East Java province was observed to drop by Rp900 compared to the previous day to Rp33,450.

Meanwhile, compared to the last month, the daily chicken meat price in traditional markets has decreased from the previously recorded Rp35,550.

Meanwhile, the daily chicken meat price in traditional markets in East Java over the last three months has fallen by 3.32%. According to historical food price records in the PIHPS price panel, the daily chicken meat price in traditional markets in East Java province was traded at Rp34,600.

The record increase in daily chicken meat prices in traditional markets in this province was previously recorded in May 2020 with an increase of 15.66%, and the lowest decrease was recorded in April 2020 with a decrease of -10.73%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, today's prices of nine staple foods (sembako) in East Java recorded 14 commodities down and nine others up. The sembako with falling prices are daily Curly Red Chili in Traditional Markets by Province, daily Chicken Eggs in Traditional Markets by Province, daily Large Red Chili in Traditional Markets by Province, daily Red Chili in Traditional Markets by Province, daily Fresh Broiler Chicken Eggs in Traditional Markets by Province, daily Premium Quality Granulated Sugar in Traditional Markets by Province, daily Granulated Sugar in Traditional Markets by Province, daily Bird's Eye Chili in Traditional Markets by Province, daily Chicken Meat in Traditional Markets by Province, daily Red Bird's Eye Chili in Traditional Markets by Province, daily Fresh Broiler Chicken Meat in Traditional Markets by Province, daily Green Bird's Eye Chili in Traditional Markets by Province, daily Bulk Cooking Oil in Traditional Markets by Province, and daily Local Granulated Sugar in Traditional Markets by Province.
