Today's Food Prices in Banten on February 27: Red Chili Prices Rise, Oil Prices Fall

Some food commodity prices in Banten today were observed to increase compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Needs Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Friday (February 27, 2026) at 15:46 WIB, out of 16 commodities, 4 commodities increased and 2 decreased in price.

The commodities that saw price increases are large red chili, curly red chili, red bird's eye chili, and shallots.

Meanwhile, prices of some commodities such as premium rice and bulk palm cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Curly red chili prices rose the most by Rp1,250 (3.19%) to Rp40,458 per kg. Bulk palm cooking oil prices fell the most by Rp47 (0.27%) to Rp17,048 per liter.
