Chicken Egg Prices in Modern Markets March 2025-2026

Quoting from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center dashboard at 08:23 WIB, the daily chicken egg price in modern markets in East Java province has not changed compared to the previous day, nor in the last week.

Regarding the price in the last month, the development of daily chicken egg prices in modern markets has decreased from the previously recorded Rp27,75 thousand per kg.

Meanwhile, the daily chicken egg price in modern markets in East Java over the last three months has seen a 10.29% decrease. According to historical food price records on the PIHPS price panel, the daily chicken egg price in modern markets in East Java province is traded at Rp29,65 thousand per kg.

The record increase in daily chicken egg prices in modern markets in this province was previously recorded in December 2021 with an increase of 36.87%, and the lowest decrease was recorded in February 2018 with a decrease of -8.7%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the price of nine staple foods (sembako) today in East Java recorded 21 commodities down and six others up. The sembako with falling prices are Cooking Oil, Rice, Branded Packaged Cooking Oil 1, Low Quality II Rice, Low Quality I Rice, Granulated Sugar, Green Bird's Eye Chili, Red Bird's Eye Chili, Grade 1 Beef, Medium Quality II Rice, Grade 2 Beef, Beef, Chicken Eggs, Fresh Layer Chicken Eggs, Fresh Broiler Chicken Meat, Chicken Meat, Red Chili, Super Quality I Rice, Large Red Chili, Curly Red Chili and Bird's Eye Chili.

8. Green Bird's Eye Chili per Kg Rp56,8 thousand per kg (down 30.35%)
9. Red Bird's Eye Chili per Kg Rp90,85 thousand per kg (down 22.08%)
10. Grade 1 Beef per Kg Rp168,2 thousand per kg (down 3.61%)
