Central Java Food Prices Today: Chicken Meat Price Rises, Buffalo Meat Falls

The prices of several food ingredients in Central Java today were observed to decrease compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Saturday (October 11, 2025) at 09.53 WIB, out of 25 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 16 commodities decreased.

Commodities with price increases include broiler chicken meat, red onion, corn at farmer level, premium rice, and pure beef.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as milkfish, SPHP rice, skipjack tuna, red cayenne pepper, and Minyakita decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Broiler chicken meat saw the highest jump of Rp1,369 (3.64%) to Rp38,975 per kg. The price of fresh local buffalo meat, however, fell most sharply by Rp142,000 (100.0%) to Rp0 per kg.
