Rice Prices in North Kalimantan Increased by 0.38% This Week

The price of rice in North Kalimantan was sold at Rp 13,350 per kg on Monday, February 14, 2022. Compared to other regions, the price change in this region was the highest in the last week.

According to daily monitoring of staple food commodity data from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center, the price of rice in North Kalimantan started to rise by 0.38% in a week.

Meanwhile, compared to the price 30 days earlier, the price of rice in this region has increased by 3.89%. This means there has been a significant increase in a month. In fact, compared to the last year's prices, the selling price of rice in North Kalimantan's modern markets is currently the highest on record.

For the January-February 2022 period, the price of rice in modern markets continued to rise, increasing by 3.89% compared to the previous month.

The price of rice reached its lowest point at Rp 12,850 per kg on Monday, January 3, 2022. The highest price ever reached was around Rp 13,350 per kg.

Nationally, rice prices began to fall towards the end of 2021. The average price of rice in modern markets was sold at Rp 13,060 per kg, down 0.12% compared to the end of last week.
