Today's Food Prices, December 24, in East Java: Chicken Meat and Chili Prices Decline

Prices of several food commodities in East Java today were observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Needs Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Wednesday (24/12/2025) at 17:02 WIB, out of 16 commodities, 3 increased and 5 decreased.

Commodities with increasing prices were Minyakita cooking oil, bulk palm cooking oil, and Honan garlic.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as large red chili, red onion, broiler chicken meat, curly red chili, and red cayenne pepper decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Honan garlic increased the most by Rp300 (0.96%) to Rp31,700 per kg. The price of large red chili decreased the most by Rp2,106 (6.46%) to Rp30,515 per kg.

5. Curly Red Chili: Rp35,310 per kg (down 6.43%)
6. Honan Garlic: Rp31,700 per kg (up 0.96%)
7. Large Red Chili: Rp30,515 per kg (down 6.46%)
8. Broiler Chicken Eggs: Rp29,652 per kg (unchanged)
9. Premium Packaged Palm Cooking Oil: Rp20,326 per liter (unchanged)
10. Bulk Palm Cooking Oil: Rp18,327 per liter (up 0.12%)
11. Minyakita: Rp16,718 per liter (up 0.82%)
12. Bulk Granulated Sugar: Rp16,242 per kg (unchanged)
