Food Prices Today (24/12) in West Java: Egg, Red Chili, and Onion Prices Fall

Prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

According to data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Necessity Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Wednesday (24/12/2025) at 18:22 WIB, out of 16 commodities, 2 commodities increased and 5 commodities decreased.

The commodities with increased prices are Honan garlic and curly red chili.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as broiler eggs, large red chilies, broiler meat, red onions, and red cayenne pepper decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Honan garlic commodity surged the highest by Rp533 (1.53%) to Rp35,333 per kg. Red onion prices, however, fell the sharpest by Rp1,946 (5.07%) to Rp36,454 per kg.

6. Red Onion: Rp36,454 per kg (down 5.07%)
7. Honan Garlic: Rp35,333 per kg (up 1.53%)
8. Broiler Eggs: Rp30,900 per kg (down 0.75%)
9. Premium Packaged Palm Cooking Oil: Rp20,408 per liter (stable)
10. Bulk Palm Cooking Oil: Rp17,865 per liter (stable)
11. Bulk Granulated Sugar: Rp17,675 per kg (stable)
