Latest Food Prices in Central Java: Salt Increases, Buffalo Meat Drops

The prices of several food commodities in Central Java today were observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Friday (12/9/2025) at 12:13 PM WIB, out of 25 commodities, 10 commodities increased and 15 commodities decreased.

Commodities with increased prices include mackerel, large red chili, packaged cooking oil, consumption sugar, and fresh buffalo meat (local).

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as dried soybean seeds (imported), skipjack tuna, corn at the farmer level, frozen buffalo meat (imported from abroad), and broiler chicken meat decreased compared to yesterday''s prices.

Consumption salt prices jumped the highest by Rp343 (3.19%) to Rp11,088 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of frozen buffalo meat (imported from abroad) dropped the sharpest by Rp2,025 (1.88%) to Rp105,950 per kg.
