Latest Food Prices in Indonesia: Buffalo Meat Price Rises, Red Chili Price Drops

The prices of several food commodities in Indonesia today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Wednesday (September 10, 2025) at 09:12 AM WIB, out of 25 commodities, 6 increased and 19 decreased.

Commodities with price increases include skipjack tuna, frozen buffalo meat (imported), pure beef, mackerel, and SPHP rice.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as curly red chili, bulk cooking oil, packaged wheat flour, bulk wheat flour, and red bird''s eye chili decreased compared to yesterday''s prices.

Frozen buffalo meat (imported) saw the highest jump of Rp1,801 (1.7%) to Rp107,643 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of large red chili dropped the deepest by Rp1,815 (3.97%) to Rp43,945 per kg.
