Central Java Food Prices Wednesday (15/10): Oil Prices Rise, Buffalo Meat Falls

Prices of several food commodities in Central Java today are observed to be lower than yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency's (Bapanas) food price panel on Wednesday (15/10/2025) at 09.53 WIB, out of 25 commodities, 10 commodities increased and 15 commodities decreased.

Commodities with price increases include shallots, pure beef, consumption sugar, broiler chicken meat, and dried soybean seeds (imported).

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as corn at farmer level, bulk wheat flour, large red chili, consumption salt, and medium rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Dried soybean seeds (imported) saw the highest increase of Rp200 (2.11%) to Rp9,691 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of fresh local buffalo meat experienced the deepest drop of Rp144,375 (100.0%) to Rp0 per kg.
