Red Chili Pepper Price in North Kalimantan Reaches Rp 137,500 per Kg (Monday, February 7, 2022)

The National Strategic Food Price Information Center recorded the average daily price of large red chilies (per kg) in modern markets in several provinces at Rp 76,740 per kg, data as of Monday, February 7, 2022. Overall, the average this week decreased compared to the previous week's average of Rp 77,250 per kg.

The daily price of large red chilies in modern markets in North Kalimantan was the most expensive in Indonesia, with a selling price of Rp 137,500 per kg. Compared to a month ago, the price of large red chilies in this province did not change. The highest selling price ever recorded in this region was Rp 137,500 per kg.

Meanwhile, in modern markets in North Sulawesi, large red chilies were sold at Rp 101,050 per kg, making it the second most expensive in the country.

Then, in third place, the price of large red chilies in East Kalimantan was Rp 98,700 per kg, Bangka Belitung Islands Rp 92,900 per kg, and Jambi Rp 89,900 per kg.

Meanwhile, there are six provinces with large red chili sales below the national average. The three provinces with the lowest selling prices for large red chilies are Central Java, North Maluku, and Bali.
