Today's Food Prices (23/12) in Aceh: Shallots Up, Red Chili Down

Prices of several food commodities in Aceh today were observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Needs Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Tuesday (23/12/2025) at 5:47 PM WIB, out of 16 commodities, 11 commodities saw an increase and 5 commodities experienced a decrease.

Commodities with increased prices include broiler chicken meat, beef hindquarter, bulk palm cooking oil, premium packaged palm cooking oil, and shallots.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as broiler chicken eggs, medium rice, curly red chili, wheat flour, and large red chili decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Shallots saw the highest jump of Rp7,667 (17.43%) to Rp51,667 per kg. The price of large red chili dropped the deepest by Rp19,500 (40.07%) to Rp29,167 per kg.

Below is the complete list of prices for 16 food commodities in Aceh according to SP2KP Kemendag on December 23, 2025, at 5:47 PM WIB.

2. Shallots: Rp51,667 per kg (up 17.43%)
3. Red Cayenne Pepper: Rp40,000 per kg (up 4.35%)
4. Honan Garlic: Rp38,250 per kg (up 8.13%)
5. Broiler Chicken Meat: Rp34,667 per kg (up 3.79%)
6. Curly Red Chili: Rp33,750 per kg (down 28.95%)
7. Broiler Chicken Eggs: Rp32,000 per kg (down 15.75%)
8. Large Red Chili: Rp29,167 per kg (down 40.07%)
9. Premium Packaged Palm Cooking Oil: Rp23,000 per liter (up 1.77%)
10. Bulk Palm Cooking Oil: Rp19,200 per liter (up 4.58%)
11. Bulk Granulated Sugar: Rp19,167 per kg (up 3.61%)
12. Minyakita: Rp18,394 per liter (up 2.36%)
13. Premium Rice: Rp15,363 per kg (up 1.38%)
14. Imported Soybeans: Rp14,833 per kg (up 6.71%)
15. Medium Rice: Rp13,975 per kg (down 13.65%)
16. Wheat Flour: Rp12,833 per kg (down 0.52%)
