Lampung Food Prices Wednesday (May 1st): What's the Price of Onions?

The prices of several food commodities in Lampung today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Wednesday (1/5/2024) at 13.01 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 10 commodities increased in price and 8 decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include wheat flour (bulk), fine iodized salt, simple packaged cooking oil, granulated sugar, and chicken eggs.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as skipjack tuna, pure beef, garlic bulbs, mackerel, and shallots decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chili prices increased the most, by Rp1,860 (5.25%) to Rp37,280 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of garlic bulbs decreased the least, by Rp950 (2.29%) to Rp40,470 per kg.
