Today''s Food Prices in D.I Yogyakarta: Sugar, Beef, and Chicken Prices Decrease

Prices of several food commodities in D.I Yogyakarta today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency''s (Bapanas) food price panel on Friday (August 29, 2025) at 09:34 AM WIB, out of 23 commodities, 4 commodities increased and 19 commodities decreased.

Commodities with increased prices are red cayenne pepper, SPHP rice, premium rice, and curly red chili.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as bulk cooking oil, packaged cooking oil, packaged wheat flour, consumption salt, and consumption sugar decreased compared to yesterday''s prices.

Curly red chili commodity jumped the highest by Rp1,807 (6.55%) to Rp29,375 per kg. Meanwhile, corn prices at the farmer level dropped the sharpest by Rp6,133 (100.0%) to Rp0 per kg.
