Jambi Region Food Prices Wednesday (November 5): Onion Prices Up, Chicken Meat Down

Prices of several food commodities in Jambi today were observed to be lower than yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Wednesday (November 5, 2025) at 11:00 AM WIB, out of 25 commodities, 6 commodities increased and 16 commodities decreased.

Commodities with price increases were consumption salt, skipjack tuna, shallots, curly red chili, and bulk cooking oil.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as dried soybean seeds (imported), medium rice, pure beef, garlic (bulb), and packaged cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Shallots saw the highest price increase of Rp1,424 (4.75%) to Rp31,424 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of corn at the farmer level saw the deepest decline of Rp267 (4.6%) to Rp5,533 per kg.
