Today's Food Prices March 13 in West Java: Red Chili Up, Bird's Eye Chili Down

Several food commodity prices in West Java today were observed to be higher than yesterday.

Based on data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Needs Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Friday (March 13, 2026) at 17:28 WIB, out of 16 commodities, 8 increased and 4 decreased.

Commodities that saw price increases are curly red chili, beef rump, bulk granulated sugar, chicken eggs, and large red chili.

Meanwhile, prices of some commodities such as Honan garlic, medium rice, red bird's eye chili, and wheat flour decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The large red chili commodity saw the highest jump of Rp2,358 (5.21%) to Rp47,574 per kg. The red bird's eye chili price dropped the most by Rp605 (0.66%) to Rp91,469 per kg.
