Latest Food Prices in Yogyakarta: Salt Prices Rise, Onion Prices Fall

The prices of several food commodities in Yogyakarta, D.I. today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Wednesday (11/9/2024) at 2:25 PM WIB, out of 21 commodities, 5 commodities increased and 8 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are medium-grain rice, pure beef, skipjack tuna, broiler chicken, and fine iodized salt.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as shallots, red chilies, milkfish, bulk wheat flour, and chicken eggs decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Skipjack tuna experienced the highest price increase of Rp890 (2.74%) to Rp33,420 per kg. Meanwhile, shallots saw the sharpest price drop of Rp440 (2.07%) to Rp20,780 per kg.
