Food Prices Friday (31/10) in South Sumatra: Chicken Meat, Onion, and Salt Prices Decrease

The prices of several food commodities in South Sumatra today were observed to decrease compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency's (Bapanas) food price panel on Friday (31/10/2025) at 13:55 WIB, out of 23 commodities, 7 commodities increased and 13 commodities decreased.

Commodities with increased prices include packaged cooking oil, milkfish, red bird's eye chili, bulk cooking oil, and bulk wheat flour.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as medium rice, skipjack tuna, shallots, garlic bulbs, and premium rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red bird's eye chili jumped the highest by IDR 737 (2.08%) to IDR 36,254 per kg. The price of large red chili decreased the most sharply by IDR 599 (1.15%) to IDR 51,583 per kg.
