Latest Food Prices in South Sumatra Region: Salt and Red Chili Prices Increase

The prices of several food commodities in South Sumatra are observed to have increased today compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Saturday (October 25, 2025) at 1:55 PM WIB, out of 23 commodities, 12 commodities increased and 10 commodities decreased.

Commodities with increased prices include skipjack tuna, mackerel, bulk cooking oil, large red chili, and milkfish.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as packaged wheat flour, SPHP rice, broiler eggs, bulk wheat flour, and whole garlic decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Large red chili commodity increased the most by Rp1,599 (3.22%) to Rp51,214 per kg. Meanwhile, packaged wheat flour prices decreased the most by Rp183 (1.43%) to Rp12,606 per kg.
