Food Prices in East Java Friday (14/11): Buffalo Meat Prices Up, Red Chili Down

Prices of several food commodities in East Java today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Friday (14/11/2025) at 12:46 PM WIB, out of 25 commodities, 17 commodities increased and 8 commodities decreased.

Commodities with increased prices include packaged wheat flour, skipjack tuna, bulk cooking oil, Minyakita, and broiler chicken meat.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as corn at the farmer level, large red chili, pure beef, garlic bulbs, and medium rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Frozen buffalo meat (imported) saw the highest increase of Rp120,000 (inf%) to Rp120,000 per kg. The price of large red chili decreased most sharply by Rp1,134 (2.2%) to Rp50,427 per kg.
