The results of the 2026 National Selection Based on Academic Performance (SNBP) were announced on Tuesday (31/3/2026). Out of a total of 774,263 applicants, only 20.09% or 162,116 participants were admitted to state universities (PTN).

When viewed by study program (prodi), the Faculty of Mining and Petroleum Engineering (FTTM) of Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) had the most applicants, with 2,022 registrants. However, only 95 people were admitted.

"The registrants here are those who applied for their first choice," said the General Chairman in Charge of SNBPMB 2026, Eduart Wolok, at a press conference on Tuesday (31/3/2026).

Eduart mentioned that there are three major fields of study that are popular in SNBP 2026, namely engineering, health, and law.

Here is the list of the 10 study programs with the most registrants in academic PTNs in SNBP 2026:

Faculty of Mining and Petroleum Engineering (FTTM) of Bandung Institute of Technology: 2,022 registrants
Medical Education at Universitas Indonesia: 1,943 registrants
Medicine at Universitas Gadjah Mada: 1,899 registrants
School of Electrical Engineering and Informatics - Computing (STEI-K) of Bandung Institute of Technology: 1,847 registrants
Faculty of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering (FTMD) of Bandung Institute of Technology: 1,621 registrants
Pharmacy at Universitas Padjadjaran: 1,621 registrants
Nursing Science at Universitas Padjadjaran: 1,603 registrants
Medicine at Universitas Airlangga: 1,546 registrants
Law at Universitas Diponegoro: 1,530 registrants
Law at Universitas Indonesia: 1,420 registrants
