Food Prices in West Java Today: Chicken Meat Prices Up, Red Chili Prices Down

Prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to be lower than yesterday.

According to data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Saturday (13/9/2025) at 13.53 WIB, out of 24 commodities, 6 commodities increased and 17 commodities decreased.

Commodities with increased prices include premium rice, SPHP rice, broiler chicken eggs, curly red chili, and broiler chicken meat.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as bulk wheat flour, consumption sugar, Minyakita cooking oil, mackerel, and large red chili decreased compared to yesterday''s prices.

Broiler chicken meat saw the highest increase of Rp584 (1.51%) to Rp39,161 per kg. Meanwhile, large red chili prices experienced the deepest decline of Rp1,691 (3.35%) to Rp48,835 per kg.

6. Red Cayenne Pepper: Rp39,654 per kg (down 0.64%)
7. Broiler Chicken Meat: Rp39,161 per kg (up 1.51%)
8. Milkfish: Rp37,280 per kg (down 0.1%)
9. Shallots: Rp37,094 per kg (down 1.62%)
10. Skipjack Tuna: Rp36,280 per kg (down 1.23%)
