Latest Food Prices in Central Java: Salt Up, Rice Down

The prices of several food items in Central Java today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Wednesday (August 13, 2025) at 08.57 AM WIB, out of 25 commodities, 14 commodities saw an increase and 11 commodities saw a decrease.

Commodities with increased prices include packaged wheat flour, mackerel, Minyakita cooking oil, milkfish, and pure beef.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as broiler eggs, consumption sugar, garlic, medium rice, and shallots decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Consumption salt prices surged the highest by Rp1,603 (15.06%) to Rp12,250 per kg. Meanwhile, SPHP rice prices dropped the sharpest by Rp12,289 (100.0%) to Rp0 per kg.
