Prevalence of Food Consumption Insufficiency in Manggarai Reaches 10.85% in 2025

According to data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), the prevalence of undernourishment (Prevalence of Undernourishment/PoU) in Manggarai Regency, East Nusa Tenggara, was 10.85% in 2025.

This figure decreased by 0.18% from the previous year's 11.03%, while over the last 5 years, it decreased by 0.26%.

Indonesia's average PoU was 7.89% in 2025. This means that the PoU in Manggarai Regency is higher than the national average.

The National Food Agency (Bapanas) defines PoU as a condition where a person regularly consumes an insufficient amount of food to meet the energy required for a normal, active, and healthy life.
