The number of people in South Sulawesi who have received their first dose of the vaccine has reached 6.2 million.

As of Saturday, April 16, 2022, South Sulawesi Province has achieved an 87.79% vaccination rate for the first dose, covering 6.2 million of the 7.06 million targeted individuals. The second dose vaccination rate has reached 63.46% of the target.

By target group, the COVID-19 vaccination breakdown in the province is as follows: Healthcare workers (target: 58,860 individuals) achieved 126.37% vaccination rate for the first dose (58,860 individuals) and 121.29% for the second dose (71,390 individuals).

Public sector workers (target: 694,480 individuals) achieved an 86.42% vaccination rate for the first dose (600,150 individuals) and a 78.1% rate for the second dose (542,360 individuals).

The elderly (target: 753,920 individuals) achieved a 71.6% vaccination rate for the first dose (539,780 individuals) and a 44.57% rate for the second dose (336,030 individuals).

The vulnerable general public (target: 4.57 million individuals) achieved a 78.87% vaccination rate for the first dose (3.59 million individuals) and a 55.33% rate for the second dose (2.51 million individuals).

For adolescents aged 12-17 (target: 978,890 individuals), the first dose vaccination rate reached 88.85% (869,770 individuals), while the second dose reached 68.81% (673,590 individuals).
