Statistics Indonesia (BPS) reported 1.2 million foreign tourist visits to Indonesia in November 2025.

This number dropped by 11.12% month-on-month (MoM). However, year-on-year (YoY), the number of visits grew by 9.79% compared to November 2024.

The majority of foreign tourists in November 2025 entered Indonesia through main entry points, totaling 1.01 million visits. Another 181.67 thousand visits were through border entry points.

By mode of transportation, 805.66 thousand foreign tourists entered Indonesia via air transport; 173.57 thousand visits via sea transport; and 38.11 thousand visits via land transport.

In November 2025, the largest number of foreign tourists came from Malaysia (17.27% of the total), followed by Australia (11.28%), Singapore (10.53%), and China (8.8%).

BPS also recorded that the average length of stay for foreign tourists in Indonesia in November 2025 was 9.54 nights. This figure increased compared to November 2024, when the duration was only 6.85 nights.

Cumulatively, the number of foreign tourist visits to Indonesia from January-November 2025 reached 13.98 million people. This figure grew by 10.44% (cumulative-to-cumulative/CtC) compared to the same period last year.
