Food Prices Today 09 January in West Java: Egg and Beef Prices Decrease

Prices of several food commodities in West Java today were observed to decrease compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Needs Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Friday (9/1/2026) at 6:22 PM WIB, out of 16 commodities, 3 commodities increased and 4 commodities decreased.

Commodities with increased prices were curly red chili, Honan garlic, and red onion.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as broiler chicken meat, red cayenne pepper, broiler eggs, and beef hindquarter decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Curly red chili commodity jumped the highest by Rp600 (1.63%) to Rp37,350 per kg. Meanwhile, broiler chicken meat prices dropped the deepest by Rp500 (1.3%) to Rp37,833 per kg.

7. Honan Garlic: Rp36,033 per kg (up 1.12%)
8. Broiler Eggs: Rp29,850 per kg (down 0.17%)
