Indonesia's Daily Covid-19 Case Increase Ranks 19th in Asia

As of Monday, December 13, 2021, Indonesia recorded 163 new daily cases of the Covid-19 coronavirus. With this number, Worldometer ranks Indonesia 19th in Asia for daily new cases. This ranking has remained unchanged for the past week.

Globally, Asia accounts for 15.71 percent of the total daily new cases worldwide.

Meanwhile, Vietnam has the highest number of daily new cases in Asia, recording 14,638 cases. South Korea is second with 6,688 daily new cases.

Jordan is in third place with 3,897 daily new cases.

Following are Thailand with 3,787 daily new cases, Georgia with 2,922 daily new cases, and Iran with 2,289 daily new cases.

In Southeast Asia, Indonesia ranks sixth. The highest numbers are Vietnam with 14,638 cases (first place), Thailand with 3,787 cases (second place), Laos with 1,274 cases (third place), the Philippines with 402 cases (fourth place), and Myanmar with 280 cases (fifth place).
