Today's Food Prices (Dec 31) in West Java: Red Chili and Onion Prices Rise

Prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Needs Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Wednesday (Dec 31, 2025) at 6:22 PM WIB, out of 16 commodities, 4 increased and 3 decreased.

Commodities with increased prices include broiler chicken meat, curly red chili, Honan garlic, and red onion.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as red bird's eye chili, Minyakita cooking oil, and large red chili decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Honan garlic saw the highest increase of Rp400 (1.12%) to Rp36,217 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of large red chili experienced the deepest drop of Rp1,800 (4.24%) to Rp40,683 per kg.

8. Broiler Chicken Eggs: Rp30,717 per kg (stable)
9. Premium Packaged Palm Cooking Oil: Rp20,408 per liter (stable)
10. Bulk Palm Cooking Oil: Rp17,865 per liter (stable)
