Today's Food Prices (31/12) in Jambi: Onions Up, Cayenne Pepper Down

Prices of several food commodities in Jambi today were observed to rise compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Needs Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Wednesday (31/12/2025) at 17:35 WIB, out of 15 commodities, 4 commodities increased and 2 commodities decreased.

Commodities with increased prices were large red chili, Honan garlic, shallots, and curly red chili.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as red cayenne pepper and broiler chicken meat decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Shallots saw the highest jump of Rp3,000 (9.18%) to Rp35,667 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of red cayenne pepper fell the deepest by Rp5,833 (9.33%) to Rp56,667 per kg.
