The top five regencies/cities with agglomeration death rates due to Covid-19 exceeding 0.38 per 100,000 population per week are Barito Timur, Tojo Una Una, Humbang Hasundutan, Tegal City, and Pematangsiantar City, with respective rates of 0.77, 0.63, 0.51, 0.4, and 0.38 per 100,000 population per week.
A recapitulation of national Covid-19 data from the Ministry of Health shows an increase in the agglomeration death rate due to Covid-19 in most regencies/cities outside Java. Four regencies/cities recorded a higher daily agglomeration death rate due to Covid-19 than previously, while one regency/city recorded a lower rate.
Areas outside Java with the highest agglomeration death rates due to Covid-19 include Barito Timur, Tojo Una Una, and Humbang Hasundutan, with rates of 0.77, 0.63, and 0.51 per 100,000 population per week, respectively.
Although Covid-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce transmission by consistently wearing masks, maintaining distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
