Today's Food Prices (07/1) in Banten: Red Chili, Oil, and Egg Prices Fall

Prices of several food commodities in Banten today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Needs Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Wednesday (7/1/2026) at 4:23 PM WIB, out of 16 commodities, 2 increased and 5 decreased.

Commodities with price increases are Honan garlic and beef hindquarter.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as broiler eggs, Minyakita cooking oil, red bird's eye chili, bulk palm cooking oil, and large red chili have decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Beef hindquarter saw the highest jump of Rp1,000 (0.75%) to Rp134,000 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of large red chili experienced the sharpest drop of Rp600 (1.41%) to Rp42,067 per kg.
