Several districts/cities in Jambi province still record relatively low vaccination rates compared to other areas. Some of these districts/cities include Kerinci Regency, Batanghari Regency, and Merangin Regency.
As of Wednesday, January 26, 2022, these three regencies had only completed 501,310 first doses of the vaccine, out of a target of 690,650 vaccine recipients.
Kerinci Regency is ranked first in terms of low vaccination rates. As of yesterday, this region has completed 71.1% of its vaccination program. This is the lowest rate among the 11 other districts/cities. The vaccination program in this regency targets 195,780 participants. The average weekly vaccination rate in this region last week was 1,449 participants. The available vaccine stock is 3,702 doses.
Next is Batanghari Regency, which has the second-lowest vaccination rate. With a vaccination target of 229,540 participants, this region has achieved 71.9% vaccination coverage, or 165,100 participants.
Merangin Regency is ranked third. With a vaccination target of 265,330 participants, this region has achieved 74.3% vaccination coverage, or 197,010 participants. The average weekly vaccination rate in this region last week was 3,103 participants. The remaining vaccine stock is currently 10,272 doses.
At the provincial level, the total first dose vaccination in Jambi has reached 84.15%, covering 2.26 million vaccine recipients. The second dose vaccination has reached 60.12%, covering 1.62 million vaccine recipients.
